SUNDAY

April 3

MORNING

Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness. II Pet. 3:8, 9

My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth.... so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isa. 55:8-11

God hath concluded them all in unbelief; that he might have mercy upon all. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! Rom. 11:32, 33


EVENING

Ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning. Amos 4:11

The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? Isa. 33:14

We had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us. II Cor. 1:9, 10

The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom. 6:23

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Heb. 10:31

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men. II Cor. 5:11

Be instant in season, out of season. II Tim. 4:2

MONDAY

MORNING

Fear not; I am the first and the last. Rev. 1:17

Ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest.... but ye are come unto mount Sion.... to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant. Heb. 12:18, 22-24

Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Heb. 12:2

We have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Heb. 4:15, 16

Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Isa. 44:6

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6, 7

TUESDAY

MORNING

I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. Gen. 32:26

Let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me. Isa. 27:5

O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. Matt. 15:28

According to your faith be it unto you. Matt. 9:29

Let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. James 1:6, 7

They drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and (Jesus) made as though he would have gone further But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: ... he vanished out of their sight. And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? Luke 24:28, 29, 31, 32

EVENING

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Rev. 1:8

Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last: I am He. Isa. 41:4

Sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ. The very God of peace sanctify you wholly: and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. I Thess. 5:23, 24

He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Phil. 1:6

Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Gal. 3:3

The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me. Psa. 138:8

It is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Phil. 2:13

WEDNESDAY

April 6

MORNING

He ever liveth to make intercession. Heb. 7:25

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died ... who also maketh intercession for us. Rom. 8:34

Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us. Heb. 9:24

If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. I John 2:1

There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. I Tim. 2:5

Seeing ... that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. EVENING

They that know thy name will put their trust in thee. Psa. 9:10

This is his name whereby he shalt be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. Jer. 23:6

I Will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only. Psa. 71:16

His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor. Isa. 9:6

O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself. it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. Jer. 10:23

The mighty God, The everlasting Father. Isa. 9:6

I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. II Tim. 1:12

The Prince of Peace. Isa. 9:6

He is our peace. Eph. 2:14

Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom. 5:1

The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Prov. 18:10

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help. Isa. 31:1

As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it. Isa. 31:5

THURSDAY

MORNING

As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. II Cor. 6:10

We ... rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also. Rom. 5:2, 3

I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. II Cor. 7:4

Believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. I Pet. 1:8

In a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. II Cor. 8:2

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ. Eph. 3:8, 9

Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? James 2:5

God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. II Cor. 9:8


EVENING

The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness Psa. 41:3

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them. Isa. 63:9

He whom thou lovest is sick. John 11:3

My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. II Cor. 12:9

Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.-I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Phil. 4:13

We faint not; . . . though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. II Cor. 4:16

In him we live, and move, and have our being. Acts 17:28

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength. Isa. 40:29-31

The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. Deut. 33:27

FRIDAY

MORNING

In everything ye are enriched by him. I Cor. 1:5

When we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Rom. 5:6

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Rom. 8:32

In him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. Col. 2:9, 10

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:4, 5

To will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. Rom. 7:18

Unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Eph. 4:7

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom. Col. 3:16


EVENING

They shall see his face. Rev. 22:4

I beseech thee shew me thy glory. And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. Exo. 33:18, 20

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:18

Every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Rev. 1:7

I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh. Num. 24:17

I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God. Job 19:25, 26

I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. Psa. 17:15

We shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. I John 3:2

The Lord himself shall descend from heaven ... the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. I Thess. 4:16, 17

SATURDAY

MORNING

Fear not; for I have redeemed thee. Isa. 43:1

Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel. Isa. 54:4, 5

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. Isa. 44:22

With the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. I Pet. 1:19

Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause. Jer. 50:34

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. John 10:29

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Gal. 1:3-5


EVENING

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed on us. Isa. 63:7

He brought me up ... out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. Psa. 40:2

The Son of God loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal. 2:20

God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Rom. 5:8

Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. II Cor. 1:22

Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Eph. 1:14

God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Eph. 2:4-6
