“Philippians 4: 6Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (NLT). It’s funny as we can worry about so many things in this life. Know this truth and understand! That the worrying draws us away from the life we are given in Christ. A peaceful, joyful and abundant life; full of love, forgiveness, mercy and grace. My personal experience is that there is no life like the one God has given us through His Son Jesus the Christ. We can plan, schedule, and what ever, but if we do not put God into the equation of our lives, it equals to nothing - Think about it? How many times you had your list of things to do, and in the doing of your list, did everything seem so frustrating, worrisome, and dreadful to do? Think about how many things on that list - that did not get done? By taking it to the Lord, laying it at His feet and say “Lord, here’s my list, but the agenda is yours, lead me, guide me, and direct me!” you will see fulfillment, peace, the power of His presence in the doing and getting it done. Many times have I laid it at His feet, and nothing on my list ever got done, but what I did was so much greater and awesome then what I had planed. My things did get done, but in His timing with Him at my side! Who is like you? My Lord, My God! – JAM3. “So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.” — Matthew 6:34 NLT Insight Planning for tomorrow is time well spent; worrying about tomorrow is time wasted. Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference. Careful planning is thinking ahead about goals, steps, and schedules, and trusting in God's guidance. When done well, planning can help alleviate worry. Worriers, by contrast, are consumed by fear and find it difficult to trust God. They let their plans interfere with their relationship with God. Challenge Don't let worries about tomorrow affect your relationship with God today. © 2010 by Tyndale House PublishersDaily Devo's
