Unshakeable Peace
And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil
state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Even in these confusing and frightening times, God wants you to lead an abundant life. Peace and joy and the other fruit of the Spirit are given to you to draw on all the time. When you work on developing fruit in the good times, you have a reserve for difficult times. Mature Christians know how to draw on the peace that can only come from the Prince of Peace who lives inside them. As a child of God, you need to know how to be steady and stable no matter what the circumstances. Allow His peace to guard your heart and mind so you are prepared to handle times of crisis when they come.
