Share your life's story of salvation with someone ~ Mike MacIntosh

And He left them, and getting into the boat again, departed to the other side. Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, and they did not have more than one loaf with them in the boat. Then He charged them, saying, "Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod."

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, "It is because we have no bread."
But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them,

"Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?" They said to Him, "Twelve." "Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up?" And they said, "Seven." So He said to them, "How is it you do not understand?"
Mark 8:13-21

Jesus had just performed a fantastic miracle by providing a huge meal for over 4,000 people, yet the disciples were worried because they only had one loaf of bread with them. What the disciples didn't understand is that in God's economy, there is always left over.

He can never run out! God has resources that we don't even know about. God is rich in mercy. He is rich in glory through Christ Jesus. Your Father lacks nothing! Your heavenly Father is the creator of the universe and the billions of stars that are out there. Your heavenly Father is able to do far, exceedingly, abundantly above whatever you ask or even imagine. So, don't live as paupers anymore, thinking that you don't have enough to do anything in life

.
We need revival. Our country needs a spiritual awakening. Jesus wants people that will be full of compassion, seeing the needs of the people, but going to Him for the resource and not to their own understanding. So, what do you have? As a believer, you have the most important resource: Jesus Christ! You can have a tremendous impact on this world and your community--with or without one loaf of bread--as long as you have Jesus Christ and His compassion flowing through you.

What can you do to be about your heavenly Father's business? First, He wants you to love and worship Him. Second, He wants you to fully surrender yourself to Him and His plans. And then, He wants His love to turn your heart from a hardened state that is always trying to figure everything out, to trusting Him fully for the results.

It doesn't take a huge amount of "bread" to reach out to another soul.

It doesn't take a huge amount of anything to share your life's story of salvation with someone. Freely you have received, so freely you need to give. So quit worrying about the bread. Let God be God and let Him take care of things. Your life is precious and you are needed in the body of Christ. Your compassion is needed to touch this dying world.
