| ‘While I’m in prison, I’m praying for you that the Holy Spirit might strengthen you in the inner man,’ says Paul. Do you care about your kids, Mom and Dad? Pray for them. Do you care about your church, saint? Pray for us. Do you care about your community? Pray that the Holy Spirit will work in the inner man. So many have knowledge in their heads, but it hasn’t dropped 18 inches into their hearts. How does that happen? Through prayer. Paul says, ‘I bow my knee — I assume the posture of intensity — and I pray. I can give you all of the head theology in Chapters 1, 2, and the first part of 3. But my prayer is that it will make its way to your heart.’ | ||
