"Honoring God in the Morning"

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them.
Ephesians 5:6-7
Do you hear the warning Paul was giving? He began the warning in Verse 5. Do not believe people who say you will go to heaven even if you are a fornicator, a liar, and idolater or any practicing sinner. They are lying to you.
The only way God will forgive you is if there is true repentance and a true change of heart. The word repent means “a change of mind and a change of heart; you are going one direction and you turn 180-degrees and go in the opposite direction.” That is true repentance. You are not continuing in the sin.
Yet, today in the church of Jesus Christ, there are so many fornicators, liars, adulterers, homosexuals, child molesters, covetous people, and all these things are signs of the flesh and not of the Spirit.
In Ephesians 5:5, Paul said no fornicator, no unclean person, no covetous man or idolater has an inheritance in the kingdom of God. This is God’s Word. These are not my words.
I do not care how many times you have gone to the altar, how many times you have read the Bible or what your family and friends tell you. If you are continuing in your sin, you will not inherit the kingdom of God. That is what God’s Word tells us and I will not lie to you. I will tell you to abide in Christ and be secure.
There will be no possibility of standing before Christ but by standing in Christ.
