Passion
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who
is above all, and through all, and in you all.

As time goes by, I see the next generation coming up. I feel old, but I connect with this younger generation because I have a passion; I have a vision for the kids. It is the vision God gave me when I got saved in the 70’s, and it is still my desire—to reach the youth.
That is how it is—whatever God calls you to do whether it is computers, accounting, maintenance, children’s ministry, whatever—the one thing you need to have is passion. If people cannot see your passion, you will never move anywhere—the passion has to be seen.
Vision is what God gives to you, but passion is what you put into it. If I was a worship leader, then I would be seeking God for the passion to write songs that have never been written, to make an impact on this world.
I want to get connected with the Holy Spirit and the way He is moving today. That will bring, not only passion and vision, but, it will bring revival. That is what we need today. We don’t need a job description; we need a calling description in all of our lives.
If a man is called to be a street-sweeper, he should sweep the streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven played music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great street-sweeper who did his job well.
