I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.

Evening
Our bodies washed with pure water.
“You shall . . . make a basin of bronze. . . . You shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it, with which Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet.
When they go into the tent of meeting, . . . they shall wash with water, so that they may not die. They shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they may not die.”—Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you.—If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
“In my flesh I shall see God,
whom I shall see for myself,
and my eyes shall behold,
and not another.”
—But nothing unclean will ever enter it.—You who are of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong.—I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
