LastCall: "Deano" An Example of the Right Way to Blog

In these Last Days, We have many Blogs who make Money off of Christians and Ministries by many means. In Ministry, Jesus did not charge. Ever.

As a Matter of Fact, there is no reward to a Ministry that does. No, God is not going to Bless You Later and say Well Done or give you a reward.

You already got it.

So those who are ethical and moral will shine in the Latter Days, Big Ministries, while godly, will get the same as unknown people from Jesus.

One Penny.

They don’t know it yet. They might seek to get more, but the Scripture is very very clear. Your reward is not by man’s standard.

I see a great good in this style of post I read below, they will be blessed. Please Pray For Them.

Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

It is very sobering to think that there are those who profess to be Christians yet they are not genuinely saved. We must make sure that we are not just doing good works in Christ's name and calling Christ Lord. Are we doing the will of the Father? Have we come to God through faith in Christ? Have we truly repented of our sins and believed on Jesus? What are some way to know if we are genuinely saved?

Men have some standards for those who are saved. Men say that if you do the following you are a Christian:

* Giving money to a church
* Being a member of a church
* Having a good feeling that God is with you.
* Have a mystical, magical feeling
* Living a holy life and a moral life.
* Being baptized as an child or as an adult
* Being a good, nice person
* Being sincere and genuine

The problem with man's way is that it leads to death (Proverbs 14:12). God's way leads to righteousness.

What question should we ask ourselves as we examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith?

1. Are these things in you? (II Peter 1:3-11)
Faith – belief in Christ for salvation
Virtue – character
Knowledge – of God’s Word, of our position in Christ
Temperance – self-control, self-restraint
Patience – waiting or enduring without complaint
Godliness – becoming more like Christ
Brotherly Kindness – Affection, love for brethren
Charity – Deep Christ-like love

2. Has God changed you? (I Cor. 6:9-11, 5:11, II Cor 5:17)
I Cor. 6:9-11 They were sinful, but God changed them.
I Cor. 5:11 A man called himself a brother, but there was no change.
II Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away behold all things are become new.

3. Has your faith produced fruit? (James 2:14-17, Luke 6:43-45)
James 2:14-17
Works demonstrate our faith.
Just believing there is one God is not enough.
If you have true faith, there will be works as well.
Luke 6:43-45
We are born evil that is why there is so much evil in the world.
Saved people do good because God has made them good.

4. Does God punish you when you are bad? (Hebrews 12:5-8)
Chastisement is a good thing that comes from a loving father. (v.5-6)
The Lord scourgeth (whips) every son who he receiveth. (v.6)
A person who is not chastened is not a son of God. (illegitimate)

5. Do you practice the sin? (I John 3:6-10)
A person who is saved will not practice sin.
They may sin, but they will be working at overcoming that sin.
They will not be content with their sin; they will be actively trying to not sin as much.
People that are not saved sin and practice sin without any real conviction.

6. Do you confess the name of Christ? (Matthew 10:32-34)
If you don’t confess Christ’s name, then God will not confess yours.
Christ is the only way, the only truth, the only life that leads to Heaven.
2Ti 2:12 If we suffer we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

7. Do you keep his commandments? (I John 2:3-6)
Do you read your Bible? Do you pray? Do you go to church? Do you obey when He speaks to you about giving? Witnessing?
A person who does not keep God’s commandments may not be saved?

8. Are you permanent? (I John 2:19)
Lu 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
A person who is in the faith is not going anywhere, not experimenting, not just trying it out, they are permanent.

9. Do you want to be pure? (I John 3:2-3)
Saved people hope (anticipation, expectation) for the day when they will become like Jesus and will be pure.
Saved people do not like being defeated by sin.
