Easter Message: Go Out!!

Hundreds Are Trained in Costa Rica

Key leaders and pastors came from around the region to attend the Precept Bible Study Training Workshop in Costa Rica. Fernando Palomo, the Head Bishop of the Methodist Church, invited the Precept-trained Spanish teaching team to teach the Precept Inductive Bible Study Method at the General Assembly. There was a tremendous turnout with 230 men in attendance.

At the end of the Precept training, God moved on the hearts of the leadership who attended. Many went to the altar in tears, confessing they were not studying God’s Word and therefore were not adequately prepared when they preached their sermons. Many made commitments to love, read, and study His Word.

The Precept Workshops were so well received, it was decided that the Women’s General Assembly would also have Precept Training the following month. They were thrilled when 240 women in leadership came and were so excited about what they had learned.

As a result of these life-changing workshops, many of the churches now have weekly Precept classes for their entire church body to attend. The Precept Bible study training has brought about such a transformation to leadership of the churches that they are now purchasing 1000 Spanish Inductive Study Bibles for their congregations. They are also planning to continue Leadership Training to raise up more Precept Leaders in each of these churches. Pray for God to continue to raise up more leaders to help the people of Costa Rica learn to study biblical truth for themselves.
