This is a common error. It is the Sin of Balaam who “sold out” Israel for profit.

Seek you first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness.
When you have need, seek the Church, but when you have greed, do you recognize you bleed the souls of the ones Jesus died for?
You take from those who would save this generation, and participate with those who are condemned.
