One Thousand Years: Genesage "At one with God" (Chapter 9:1)

One Thousand Years

Genesage

“At one with God"

(Chapter 9:1)

"I died for you."

What an incredible selfless action this meant. The supernatural love that could not be described.  Love which can only be ascribed to the ultimate kind of love man ever attained to.  The word named in the Greek language called agapao, in the English Agape.

The word Born Again Christians had so often used, so seldom explained. The over used word that could not contain who or what Jesus was or is. Said so simply it is: God is love.

This was Jesus, this Thomas saw. This Thomas lived. Jesus loved.

Thomas knew the reality of deicide when God chose to die for man that he might live. How do you explain “God Dying?” Was it possible? Could it be done? Was it symbolic or real? Thomas knew now, God did not “have to” raise Jesus from the dead.

It had been debated, Thomas knew the Truth.

God chose to raise God.

How could  God die for something or someone so far removed, so totally self-consumed?  How could he allow the total humiliation to occur?   Not even once giving in to the emotions of vengeance, revenge? Can mortal man be like that? Could He? Not even think of justice and retribution? What kind of God could do that?

How could the Son of God accept that?

How could Jesus so compose trusting the Spirit in Him to allow him perfect thoughts even in the choice to die for Thomas? Thomas saw the choice. He knew it all. There was alternative. God was God. God could do anything. If God wanted to He could create a new “salvation.” He could create exception. He could forgive anything and anyone.

He was, God.

Not for Jesus, but for Thomas, God chose not to.

God allowed Jesus to die for Thomas.

Jesus chose willingly to die for Thomas.

The Spirit of God made a way that God could die for Thomas.

And worse.

He did.

It was more than humbling, it was undoing. Thomas with each moment was coming undone.  In fact of matter it was such a complete dismantling of the soul of man it started all the way down in the very fibers of his being.

Not one iota of intellect would ever say anything except “How Right”, “How True”, “How Perfect”. How so complete the Way of God in the Will of the Father.

Eternity knew.

Thomas was learning.

Intricate into interwoven in the soul, the link between flesh and emotion made connection there. All the way to the very fibrous DNA strands contained inside Thomas.  The genetic code was rewritten there.

A New Code, a better RNA Sequence, a More Complete DNA Strand, the Law of Messiah the Will of the Father, the Word of God inscribed.

Not one stone of the makeup of the structure that Thomas had become was left untouched.

Nothing was left unchanged by the very housing, the body of flesh, the Son of Man lived, died, and rose in. Recounting,  reliving this life made the two even more became one as Thomas was living it.

Thomas was morphed into being. The Crystalsis of God into Man. Thomas changed. More than filled, it was One.

Echad.

Jesus had said it once.

“I in you and we in them. That they may be one as we are one.”

Few knew how true the Son of God’s Prayer for his won would be accomplished.

Thomas knew.

He was living it.
